*By continuing with lessons you are agreeing to this policy*

Scheduling

• Please join the lesson meetings on time and plan to be present for your whole time slot.
• A particular date and time slot will be given to you based on your and my availabilities. If you need this slot changed at any point in the term, please give me at least two week's notice to set another regular time for lessons.
• Please give me one week's notice if you need to cancel a lesson. Without one week's notice, the lesson will still be billed to you on the invoice.
• Please let me know a month in advance if you wish to cancel lessons entirely.
• Make up lessons may be scheduled upon notice of a lesson cancellation.
• Lesson terms are September - December (Fall term), January - June (Winter+Spring term), and July - August (Summer term).
  Holidays that I observe are (lessons will not be scheduled on these days and rescheduled if necessary should the student’s regular time slot land on these days): Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, Family Day, Easter Weekend, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Remembrance Day.

Invoices

• Students may choose a ‘by-the-month’ or a ‘by-the-term’ payment schedule:
  • ‘By-the-month’ payments will include one month’s worth of lessons sent at the beginning of that month marked as due by the last lesson of that month.
  • ‘By-the-term’ payments will include a maximum of one whole term’s worth of lessons sent at the beginning of the term marked as due 75 days from the date of issue.
• Invoices will be sent out to the primary contact email address on file. Please mark my email address as safe so the invoices do not fall into your junk mail.
• Invoices may be paid by e-transfer or cheque. Please notify me as to which payment method you will be paying by before you begin lessons:
  • E-transfers may be sent to ‘payments@coppercabbage.com’. The funds will auto-deposit.
  • Please make cheques payable to ‘Paige Knickle’.
    If an invoice (or part of an invoice) remains unpaid past the last lesson of a month, the studio will pause lessons with that student until the invoice has been paid.
• All lessons will be added to the invoices unless I receive at least one weeks notice of cancellation. Lateness is not a valid reason for a missed lesson, however emergencies are certainly acceptable. With illness, makeup lessons will be scheduled.
• Credits for cancelled lessons will apply to the next month or term’s invoice or will be issued/resolved at the end of lessons.
